The Real Food Challenge is the nation-wide student led organization that sponsored CoFED’s first summer training.
So just what is real food?
“It is food which truly nourishes producers, consumers, communities and the earth. It is a food system–from seed to plate–that fundamentally respects human dignity and health, animal welfare, social justice and environmental sustainability.“

The Real Food Challenge is motivating college youth around the country to stand up for what they want on their plate and demand Real Food served by their campus dining services. Their goal is 20% Real Food on college campuses by 2020.
