Teri Grunthaner

Teri became passionate about this endeavor during her senior year of college. She is now a graduate of HSU with a BA in Cooperative Economics, but is still dedicated to the mission of creating a student-cafe on campus.

During her college years, Teri served as co-director of the Campus Center for Appropriate Technology; coordinator and host of the philosophical Inner Space Talks; community organizer for the Humboldt Exchange Community Currency Project; prop and costume manager for the full-feature movie, God is a Communist!?*; coordinator of the Democracy Unlimited of Humboldt State club; and circus performer for the Humboldt Circus.

She is currently helping organize against corporate personhood as a staff member of Democracy Unlimited of Humboldt County; working to establish a cooperative cafe on the HSU campus by coordinating the Humboldt Student Food Collective; getting her hands dirty as an intern at Deep Seeded Farm; keeping herself healthy by worktrading at Om Shala Yoga; and having fun dancing, playing music, and hula hooping.

Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Eric recently transferred to Humboldt State. He has an interest in sustainability, personal development, and developing ways to regain control over our political and economic systems, especially at the local level. He also loves good, real food (and really good food!) and cooking.
