Howdy! My name is Anna, and I hail from the tumbleweed-strewn deserts of Las Vegas, Nevada.  I found my way to the University of Washington after a year abroad in Israel and am now working with a terrific group of people to establish the UW Food Co-op. I am currently studying Economics (B.S., with a Certificate in Natural Resources and Environmental Economics) and International Studies (minor). If you can recognize me in person (hint: I got a rather noticeable haircut since my bio pic), say hello!

Matt is a recent graduate from University of Washington and focuses on cooperative enterprise, community based development and urban agriculture. He has been working since Fall 2009 to make the food co-op happen at Uwash. His role within the food co-op is core facilitator and co-chair on the ASUW Food Co-op Taskforce.

My name is Teresa Bailey, I am a junior at the University of Washington and am attending with the UW Food Coop group. I study social welfare in the school of social work, and am getting a pubic health degree as well. My passion revolves around equal access to nutritious food. I am very excited to join the workshop!

I am a student at the University of Washington going into my senior year. I am studying to major in French and Global Health. I am working with a number of other students from UW to start of a cooperative food cafe on campus. Some interests/passions/hobbies of mine include and always have been language, dance, food, and justice. I work at a cafe and volunteer at a food kitchen and at various events and fundraisers in the free time I have between working, teaching dance, and doing school work. I am outgoing, friendly, confident, and determined.
